Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as an alert?

An alert is a single notification sent to you via any channel (email, Slack, Discord, SMS, or webhook) when Sentinel detects an event matching your watchlist criteria. Routine status updates and system notifications do not count toward your alert limit.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you'll be prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

What delivery channels are supported?

Free tier supports email only. Analyst tier adds Slack. Professional and Enterprise tiers support all channels: email, Slack, Discord, SMS, and custom webhooks.

How does the API work?

Analyst tier and above get access to the full REST API. You can query events, manage watchlists, configure alerts, and pull historical data programmatically. Authentication is via API key with rate limiting based on your tier.

What are wargame simulations?

Available on Professional and Enterprise tiers, wargame simulations use AI to project potential scenarios based on current intelligence data. For example: 'If this military exercise escalates, what are the likely maritime and aviation impacts in the region?'

Is there a self-hosted option?

Enterprise tier includes an optional on-premise deployment. This gives you full control over your data and infrastructure while still receiving updates and support from the WYRM team.

What does 'delta intelligence' mean?

Delta intelligence means Sentinel tells you what changed, not what is. Instead of showing you every earthquake, it tells you when seismic activity in a region increases beyond the 90-day baseline. It surfaces anomalies, not raw data.
